Dr. Napoleon C. Reyes

Dr. Reyes holds a doctorate in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University,  a law degree from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and a baccalaureate in psychology from the University of Santo Tomas.  Prior to pursuing graduate studies, he practiced criminal, civil, and trade litigation as an associate of ACCRA Law Offices and Roque and Butuyan Law Offices in Manila, Philippines.  He served as the Managing Editor for the Southwest Journal of Criminal Justice from 2006 to 2008, and as a Research Associate for Southeast Asia for the Institute for the Study of Violent Groups from 2009 to 2010.  He has taught criminology and criminal justice courses since 2007.  He currently collaborates with various governmental and non-governmental organizations in addressing police use-of-force issues and state-sponsored extrajudicial killings.
