Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies

The Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies consists of 20 units of CCJS courses chosen under advisement.  The courses must be taken in residence and for a letter grade, except for CCJS 499 (Internship) which is offered Cr/NC only.  A maximum of 4 units of internship or special study may be applied to the minor.

CCJS minors must consult with their assigned CCJS faculty advisor before taking any CCJS course.  Although not required, we highly recommend that you take CCJS 201 (Criminal Justice and Public Policy) in meeting your minor requirements.

CCJS minors must receive a C- or better in all CCJS major core requirements and CCJS electives.
