Biography
Professor Henry is an attorney and educator. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, where she won the Cali & Witkin Awards for her work on terrorism and the law and social justice lawyering, and a Bachelor of Arts in politics and psychology from New York University. Her legal practice includes state and federal civil and criminal matters. Her focus is on post conviction remedies and prison conditions. She is passionate about educating people on how to obtain government records through the Public Records Act and Freedom of Information/Privacy Act (FOIA). She is the co-founder of the Prisoner Advocacy Network. In 2020, she taught the SSCI 320 where students hosted the university’s Social Justice Week.
