CCJS Elects Emily Asencio as New Department Chair

The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies transitions to new leadership with the election of Dr. Emily Asencio as the new department chair.  Dr. Asencio joined the department in 2014 and served as its internship coordinator from Fall 2018 to Spring 2022.  Former CCJS department chair, Dr. Napoleon Reyes, did not seek reelection after completing his three-year term in May 2022.

With Dr. Asencio elected as new department chair, Dr. Anastasia Tosouni was selected to take over as internship coordinator.  Dr. Tosouni joined the department in 2016.
